Solomon Sea Fieldwork

The project includes extensive collaborative fieldwork within the Solomon Sea, in collaboration with PNG and Solomon universities and Met services.

Those include:

1. The Flusec cruise in 2007 (P.I. C. Maes, IRD)
2. Glider surveys since 2007;
3. A multidisciplinary survey, Pandora, in 2012
4. Moorings in Straits (Released during Pandora; recovered in 2013)
5. A PIES array to monitor entering heat flux from the south (Released during Pandora P.I. U. Send, SIO)
